There are a thousand and one ways, equally enjoyable, to celebrate the end of the day. Our breakfast room turns into a bar area at night. Come and share an aperitif, tell your day, toast to friendship!

Treat yourself to a glass of wine, sip a local lager and enjoy a plate of cold cuts or local cheeses. You decide !

Party games, "smoothies party" or "milkshake party" are offered to finish the day in style!

Villa Cavrois

An architectural manifestoi, the Villa Cavrois is an iconic masterpiece by the architect, Robert Mallet-Stevens, a leading light in the modernist movement. It was designed and built for Paul Cavrois, an industrialist in the local textile industry, and his family. The agenda behind this modern castle, which was commisioned in 1929, is is clear: "Air, light, work, sport, hygiene, comfort, and cost."

Vieille Bourse (Old Stock Exchange)

The former stock exchange, which was built by Julien Destrée from 1652 to 1653, is unquestionably the city's finest monument. Its courtyard welcomes booksellers, and is also the venue for tango demonstrations during the summer.

Old Lille

The remarkably restored Old City of Lille charms visitors with its flamboyant architecture. The blend of soft and bold colours in the facades of its buildings highlights the exuberance and the profusion of decoration This architectural diversity, dating back to the 17th century, encourages you to wander the city,  looking up to take in the blend of brickwork and stone detailing.


La Valiz has a secure car park just a stone's throw from the hotel.

Your vehicle will be safe, and you can pick it up whenever you want it. Any time at all, 24 hours a day for only 14 euros a day.

La Valiz has introduced the "Green me Up" programme, which aims to reduce the ecological footprint of your stay.

What we suggest is that you do without room cleaning and we offer you a drink as a way of saying "thank you".


Enjoy a pleasant surprise in the morning as you taste our traditional local produce delivered by our producers: Maroilles cheese, chicory and sugar tart Coquille de Noel Christmas brioches (in season) await you from 06:30 to 10:00 during the week and from 07:00 to 11:00 at the weekend!

Bread and french croissants are daily delivered by our bakery named "Silence ça cuit !" and our home cakes are made by Joel, our confectioner.

The price of a full breakfast is 11 euros per adult and children under 12 benefit from a 50% discount. 


Our Duplex rooms are ideal for a short or long-term stay in the capital of the Flanders region!

You can spend time with friends and family, as these Duplex rooms can accommodate up to four people. Covering an area of roughly 30 square metres, the Duplex is built on two levels.

The lower level includes a living space, complete with a very comfortable, 180cm double bed; a convertible dining area, a kitchen equipped with two hobs, a fridge, a microwave and a Café Richard coffee maker, as well as a bathroom featuring a floor-level shower, a toilet, and a second toilet.
